My Second Kit!

Little Man is my second kit and has been released in my store today.

I asked Santa for a DSLR this year, to help with my designing and photography persuits. I even mentioned I would be willing to pass up on presents for other occassions for as long as required... Unfortunately, I think Santa might have put me on the naughty list this year and I wont be getting it!! Oh well!

A 'Photo Shoot'

Yesterday afternoon James took the girls and I to the Bay to do some last little bits and pieces for Christmas. They were so good :) We didn't have that much to do so when we were done Ellie requested we walk by the water and as we had a few hours before James finished work we wandered up and down, watching pelicans, looking for fish and taking in everything around us.

As always, I had my camera handy and we had an improptu photo shoot and I thought I would share my favourite photos. they've all been through a quick edit (mostly actions I have just finished making).

Getting in the Christmas Spirit

This year I have been finding it hard to get into the Christmas Spirit. It simply doesn't feel like Christmas can possibly be so close. It took as awhile, but we finally put our tiny Christmas Tree up and hung a star, but that's all the decorating we've done. I think we've almost finished our shopping, but it's been a bit here and a bit there. Barely feels like Christmas shopping if you don't do it all at once and shop, shop, shop until you're feet hurt, your back aches and you have no money left.

Today, the girls and I were dropped in town to finish up some shopping and walk home. On the way past the showground Ellie spotted some Shetlan Ponies and wanted to go and say hello. We went towards them and I soon realised they had reindeer ears on. Even the ponies feel more Christmasey than I do!!






One of the ponies came to check us out and when he got  this close Ellie said "Don't eat Ellie." It was so cute.

Kahlei and Ellie have been a little under the weather since Kahlei's Birthday Gathering and yesterday I came down with it, too. Today I felt like death. I think the fact that Kahlei has me up before 5.30 most mornings meant that when I got it I really got it as I am just so run down.

At one stage today I felt as if my head was surely going to explode, it was heavy, fuzzy and oh-so-painful. I decided to lie down while the girls watched their show and fell asleep quite quickly. I awoke to the phone ringing and a sight I could only laugh at. It was so overwhelming, that laughing in dismay was my only response.





Ellie had gone to the pantry, taken out the Crunchy Nut, got a bowl and poured herself some cereal. Now, both James and I are pretty sure the Crunchy Nut wasn't even open, so she did that, too. When I woke, they were having a great time playing in all the flakes. Kahlei had them stuck all over her legs and Ellie told me she had been eating them and Kahlei made a mess.

Luckily, we have tiles so it was easy to sweep up!

Happy Birthday, Baby Girl!!

It's been a year since Kahlei came into the world. I can't believe how fast it's gone!!! We're having a nice quiet day at home and then tonight we'll be off to visit my grandparents to celebrate and give Uncle Max back to Nanna.

I have so much to say

and somehow I never manage to blog it. I don't know why. I want to write about the stresses I've been experiencing since the car has sold, about my worries about walking into town alone with the girls once Ethan leaves. Sometimes, at night I can't sleep because my stupid brain is writing a blog post, but then the day comes and all inspiration is gone.

I want to write about how 5am is going to kill me. About how Kahlei gets up most mornings at 5.30 or earlier and I can't hardly function throughout the day. 5am should be outlawed.

I will get around to blogging again. I WANT to.

Tomorrow is Kahlei's 1st birthday. Crazy :) I will do a birthday blog, promise. xo
