P365 Catch up + Week 2 LO

I was thinking about continuing along with the ESS numbers prompt, in fact I had taken a photo of the timer on our washing machine and then it happened. I went to change Kahlei's dirty nappy only to return to Ellie telling me she'd done a poo. I looked at her but she had no nappy on and so she showed me that she'd taken it off and done it in her house!! Our first floor poo... I thought it needed to be remembered, lol.

Ellie is infatuated with all things bugs - especially Slaters, after naming one Kate a while back. This one's name was also Kate by some strange coincidence ;)

Tickle Monsters

Kahlei is obsessed with standing up, crouching down and then standing up again, doing a little jig and pretending she might take a step. It's cute, sometimes a little frustrating and a bit scary that soon she will be walking.

I have used the same products as last week's layout - a double sided template by M Originals, who, I’ve found has many wonderful templates perfect for these layouts and this month’s mega from Enchanted Studio Scraps, Celebrate Anew. I intended to change the template and kit monthly but am worried somehow it will overlap along the way and look silly, so I have decided to change it up at the end of three weeks (as that will be the end of January) so I get some variety in there.

P365: Day 10 & 11 + Week 1 LO :)

At ESS they have P365 prompts to help inspire us with our daily photos, this week's prompt is to 'take pictures of your life by the numbers'. If you want to know more pop over to the thread here. I decided to take a photo of the page I was on in the book I am currently reading, Dead as a Doornail by Charlaine Harris. I am LOVING this series. Seriously.

In keeping with the whole theme, I decided to take a piccie of my diary today. Every day I write little bits and pieces in my diary. New things the girls have done, things I have been thinking, things I need to do... It's an improtant part of my life.

This year I have decided to create layouts with the photos I take for project 365, last year I was left wondering what the point was... So, this is week 1's layout. I've used adouble sided template by M Originals, who, I've found has many wonderful templates perfect for these layouts and this month's mega from Enchanted Studio Scraps, Celebrate Anew.

Waiting for daddy to come home :)

I just wanted to mention that Kahlei said 'bye' for the first time yesterday and also started simply standing up, without having to pull herself up :) She would just pop up and down, thinking she was soooo smart! There were a few times it looked like she was thinking about taking a step, but decided she would try to jump instead! Funny little girl. I am sure she will be walking soon and I still don't know if I am ready! I am so pleased she didn't decide to walk at 10 months like Ellie because this girl is BUSY!  Ellie calls her 'trouble bub' and James calls her 'trubba-bubba' lol. I think she's just, you know, busy and adventerous!

Oh, Why Not?

Obviously, thes blog has gone neglected of late. Since Christmas, I haven't written anything simply because I don't know what I should write, if I should write, what to say and even if I want to say anything. Even before all the drama of the past few weeks I wasn't blogging as I wanted, but I hate the idea of beckyandjames.com sitting here, unused. So, I have decided to try the whole Project 365 thing again. I know, I didn't complete it last year - but life happened, you know? I hope to be more dedicated this time around and I am sure it will be easier this year. Last year, I wanted to expand my photography skills and put restrictions on my photographs, I tried to stay away from taking too many photos of the girls and had to get creative, but I've decided this year to just focus on 'the norm' and use this project to document our life, especially at the moment when I am unable to blog.

I had wanted to start on the 1st of January, but with one thing and another that didn't happen, so I am starting 2010 now!
