Thanks to Clairey Hewitt for inspiring this afternoon activity
Linking up with Trish for Wordless Wednesday
ahh love the bright colours.. hadn’t thought about doing that with my children – have made them rainbow cakes before.. definitely one to add to the list of things to do in school holidays!
Neither had I, until I read Clairey’s post. We do lots of cooking, but I always fill the cake pan/cupcake pans. This kept them busy and entertained and I was able to do things without interruption!
Haha! I love the tell-tale signs of licking the bowl, on your daughter’s face as she watches the cakes cook. Licking the bowl is the best part! 🙂
It IS the best bit, isn’t it! And Kahlei likes to get her whole head involved 😉
Looks like a whole lot of fun
It was! They had a blast!
Bright as colours to make you smile! Hope it was a beautiful day!
Yes, the lovely colours did make me smile. I love how they turned out
oh i LOVE these hon!!! making me hungry and happy just looking at them xx
ps glad you are back!
Yum yum, and good fun
I love your wordless wednesday! So bright! Looks like a great idea, think I’ll try this with my little ones 🙂
Ohh they look so yummy.
Oh I adore this series of photos. I’m not game to try cooking with Indi yet (17months) although she does point to the oven now and say ‘hot’
