Gorillas at Mogo Zoo | Wordless Wednesday

It’s been awhile since I posted any zoo pics – in fact, the last time was in July when I showed you a different view of Mogo Zoo. July people. It’s time.

And, thankfully, I have a great excuse. There are Gorillas at Mogo Zoo and, yesterday was the official public opening of the new exhibit and Jasper and I had a lovely Mummy and Jazzy day out watching them. We even got cake.

  1. Beautiful. I love gorillas :-)

    • Hi Ang, thanks for popping by. I do, too, especially now!

  2. Great pics – looks like a wonderful zoo.

    • It really is, Leanne. It’s well worth a visit if you’re ever visiting the South Coast of NSW!

  3. Yes it HAS been awhile I agree. Love Gorillas, so close to men I reckon!!! I always feel sorry for cheetahs in zoos, unless they have big runs xx

    • I am hoping that’s a ‘Yes it has been a while I agree and I am thrilled you’re back at it!’ as apposed to ‘Yes it has been awhile I agree and I wish you wouldn’t!’ ;)
The cheetah enclosure is lovely and big and nice and new as they moved out for the gorillas.

  4. Oh my, I am green with envy, I LOVE gorillas! They truly are majestic, magnificent creatures :)

    • They are so amazing! If you’re ever in the neighbourhood, you should pop in and see Kibabu and his family!

  5. We have been past Mogo Zoo and want to return for a Visit very soon – love Gorillas – could easily see my youngest wanting to stay all day to visit them!! Thanks for sharing your day, now I can’t wait to go there!!

    • It’s amazing there, Lisa. We have a family membership so we can go anytime we want and I imagine Jasper and I will visit often! He was so taken with them.

  6. I love a day out at the zoo, awesome photos. How exciting for Mogo Zoo, that male has made himself right at home! :)
