ICAD Week 4 | Monday’s Muse on a Tuesday

Due to holidays and being away over the weekend, my ICAD update is a day late. This week has mostly been doodles on cards I’ve used excess paints on, which is perfect for while away. I love the look of doodles and whimsy when other people do them, so I thought I’d give it a go.

even though I love Star Wars, I couldn’t do it justice.

The above are the extent of my abilities (and some are pushing it) but they’re quick and fun to do. I just need to find a black pen that will write on most mediums.

Any suggestions?
Have you been creative this week?

  1. What does ICAD stand for? Looks like lots of fun. I like ‘quick and fun’, I find that once it gets too hard to get my supplies out, art just doesn’t happen.

    • Hi Tat, I forget that I should write what ICAD stands for every post. It stands for ‘Index Card a Day’. I’m the same, if it’s hard I can’t keep up with it, so this is perfect.

  2. You’re a wee bit awesome. Umm so apart from writing I have got a new camera and tried to be creative. Oh wait I did write fab feature about a daughter running a race wearing blue, cutting her hair and donning bathers to raise money for her mum dying of MND, that is creative. And a lot sad 🙁

    • Thanks Em. What YOU created has so much more meaning than a few silly doodles on little cards. You are such an inspiration, as is Stacey.

  3. Hi Becky, these look terrific! index Cards are so cool. I keep some (blank & pre-painted) along with some pens & colours in a small zip bag in my bag when I go out. My go-to black pens are Unipins – got a set of 5 black in various sizes from Officeworks for around $16. Cheers D

  4. They are gorgeous – love the whimsy! I’m really getting into mixed media, so this idea would be great to keep me on it 🙂

    Hello from #teamIBOT
